USLF High Point Awards

For Show Managers

Welcome! We are so excited that you wish to include the Lipizzan Breed in your show’s Breed High Point Awards! The USLF is happy to encourage and support the Lipizzan breed by sponsoring High Point Awards for RECOGNIZED shows.

  • Lipizzan High Point Award is sponsored by U.S. Lipizzan Federation

  • Awards are only provided for RECOGNIZED SHOWS. At this time, USLF will not be sponsoring high point awards for schooling shows.

  • One Lipizzan competing is sufficient for this award to be presented.

  • Both Lipizzan and Lipizzan cross horses are eligible, provided they are registered with one of the approved Lipizzan registries.

    • Accepted Registries include United States Lipizzan Federation (USLF), United States Lipizzan Registry (USLR), Lipizzan Association of North America (LANA), or Lipizzan Registry of the Americas (LRA).

    • If other Lipizzan registry papers are submitted, please contact the USLF office or text a picture of the papers to the USLF office for verification.

  • Up to two awards may be requested per show (one for National levels and one for FEI levels)

    Steps to Include a Lipizzan High Point

    1)      Complete the Online High Point Request Form or download the form and email to the USLF office.

    2)      Accept Competitor’s Certificate of Registration & High Point Application to be considered for the award.

    3)      If possible, we would appreciate knowing who won these awards! Please e-mail the USLF office to let us know of the Lipizzan who achieved this award!

For Competitors

If you are a competitor and wish to have a Lipizzan High Point Award available at the recognized show that you participate in, please contact the Show Manager and make that request to show management. Please note that many show managers require such requests prior to publication of the show bill, so please make sure to contact them well in advance of the show. Furthermore, it is not mandatory for any show to offer a high point award, this is at the sole digression of show management, so please respect our hard working show managers and their decisions regarding high point awards. USLF is happy to offer and sponsor this award if desired by show management. If they would like more information, please direct them to this page.

 If the show you are attending is including a Lipizzan High Point Award, please send a copy of the High Score Award Application form along with a copy of your horse’s Certificate of Registration to show management along with your entry form.
